In 2011, in order to develop community outreach and advocacy on newer grounds of sustainability for the society, FFC management approved creation of SONA WELFARE FOUNDATION (SWF), officially registered as Non-Profit Organization (NPO) and ever since then has been an implementation partner for the parent in matters of sustainability and social welfare.Taking the name from our brand name “SONA” and having sense of deep gratitude and compassion for the nation it serves, having recognition from Pakistan Centre of Philanthropy and running mega social welfare projects nationwide. Relief and Rehabilitation Initiative
When the devastating 2022 floods hit Sindh and Punjab, thousands of families were left with nothing. Sona Welfare Foundation stepped in with swift relief and a long-term commitment to rebuilding what was lost. Our goal was not just to respond, but to help people recover with dignity and resilience.

- Relief operations in remote villages, ensuring access to clean water and emergency supplies
- Construction of 137+ flood-resilient homes for families who lost their shelter
