Naya Aasman SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

University Scholarship – 10 Seats

At Sona Welfare Foundation, we believe that talent should never be held back by financial limitations. In partnership with Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), we offer a fully funded University Education Scholarship for high-achieving students from our Mirpur Mathelo plant site. This fully funded university scholarship program under our CSR department opens doors for students in Tehsil Mirpur Mathelo to pursue higher education in any discipline at HEC-recognized universities across Pakistan, including MBBS and BDS programs in government institutes. 
Number of seats available:

For MBBS and BDS: 5 seats

For other disciplines: 5 seats

Who Can Apply?
  • Students who have secured at least 70% marks in their Intermediate exams 
  • Must be recent Intermediate graduates 
  • Both male and female applicants are eligible 
  • Must have confirmed admission in any discipline at an HEC-recognized university 
  • MBBS and BDS are valid for government institutes only
What the Scholarship Covers
  • Full tuition coverage for the entire duration of the degree
     
  • All academic disciplines supported (open merit)
     
Your Commitment as a Scholar
  • Maintain good academic standing throughout your degree
  • Abide by the rules and code of conduct of your university
  • Submit academic progress reports as required by SWF
Note: Poor academic performance, violations, or withdrawal from the program may lead to discontinuation of the scholarship.
Who can apply:
  • Students who have scored at least 70% in SSC (Matriculation)  
  • Open to both male and female students 
  • Must be fresh applicants with confirmed admission in F.A./F.Sc. 
Scholarship Benefits:
  • Annual tuition fee support of Rs. 60,000 
  • Continuous guidance and academic monitoring 
  • Focused on the top 30 students selected purely on open merit

Intermediate Scholarship - 30 seats

At Sona Welfare Foundation, our intermediate scholarship programs uplift deserving students from underprivileged communities right after matriculation This program provides full scholarship support to top-performing matric students from Mirpur Mathelo, helping them secure intermediate-level education in their chosen streams.
Skill Development Program
Giving young adults and women the training they need to start earning, support their families, and build a better future. At Sona Welfare Foundation, we turn their hope into action, and teach skills that can help people stand on their own feet with pride. We work in areas where opportunities are few, but potential is everywhere. It starts with one skill. But it leads to independence, dignity, and change that touches entire families and communities. 

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program for Females

Designed to professionally train women in healthcare, the CNA Program equips participants with the knowledge and skills to serve as Certified Nursing Assistants.

Covering both theory and hands-on patient care, this course prepares women for immediate employment in clinics, hospitals, and elder care centers—helping build both income and dignity within the healthcare field.

Program duration: 2 years
Number of seats: 20

General Skill Development Program

This inclusive program targets individuals from both educated and uneducated backgrounds, offering vocational training in trades such as:

Plumbing
Welding
Tailoring

And other practical skill sets. The initiative creates a direct path to employment, enhancing family income and uplifting entire communities through self-reliance and craftsmanship.

Technical Training

Creating a Ripple Effect of Economic Progress

Sona Welfare Foundation, in collaboration with Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), has designed a technical training program to spark lasting economic growth in Pakistan. We are focused on developing a workforce equipped with industrial knowledge and technical skills, so they can thrive in the competitive market. 


By preparing individuals for in-demand careers, we’re fueling progress that reaches into homes, communities, and across generations. 

Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) Program

The 3-year DAE Program offers technical education in the following specializations: 

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering 
  • Mechanical Engineering

Number of seats: 20 

This program is open to students who have passed their matric examination. It combines theory with hands-on lab and field experience and prepares students for employment in industrial sectors, FFC plants, and more. 

By training young minds in industry-relevant disciplines, this program will create a steady pipeline of competent professionals ready to meet Pakistan’s growing technical demands.

Social Education Programs
Formal education alone is not enough. At Sona Welfare, we also focus on holistic learning through lectures by guest speakers: 

2. Out of School Children Programme

  • We bring education to children under the age of 5 who are not enrolled in school, particularly in villages near our plant sites. 

    Initiatives include: 

    • Organizing movie sessions twice a week using selected educational content. 
    • Deployment of local female teachers and technical staff for conducting activities. 
    • Providing necessary infrastructure such as LED screens, generators, and transportation. 

Our launch session “The Power of a Growth Mindset,” led by Ms. Ainee Shehzad Salim, helped children face challenges with confidence and clarity.

1. Empowering Children with Life Skills (education)

This program helps children near our Mirpur Mathelo plant site to learn important life skills that are not taught in regular classrooms. 

Through guest speaker sessions, children learn about: 

  • How to manage emotions and show empathy 
  • How to communicate with others in a respectful way 
  • Why values like kindness, respect, and responsibility matter 

They also take part in motivational talks that boost their confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills. 

These sessions are interactive and inclusive, bringing together students from FFC schools and nearby communities. 

The program runs throughout the year, helping children grow into well-mannered, confident, and responsible individuals who care for their communities. 

3. Computer Literacy Programme (skill dev)

Evening classes at SPS&C Mirpur Mathelo plant site is designed to impart practical IT skills like freelancing and web hosting. 

Features: 

  • Selection of 25 students through an initial test. 
  • 3-month courses culminating in a certificate from a recognized IT institute. 
  • Fully equipped classrooms with air conditioning and expert computer instructors. 

Through these social education programs, we empower not just children, but entire communities with knowledge, skills, and the drive to build a better tomorrow.

Sona Public School & College (SPS&C)

Continuing with our mission to provide quality education to the underserved communities, Sona Public School & College (SPS&C) currently serves over 1,021 students in Mirpur Mathelo and surrounding areas of District Ghotki 

Among them, 500 students receive completely free education, while the remaining students benefit from a highly subsidized fee structure evaluated annually.
