Rebuilding Lives. Restoring Hope.

In the wake of the devastating 2022 floods, Sona Welfare Foundation launched a large-scale Relief and Rehabilitation Program to support affected communities near Mirpur Mathelo (Sindh) and Goth Machhi (Punjab).

Our response was swift, purposeful, and deeply rooted in empathy for those who lost everything.

Phase 1: Immediate Relief

As floodwaters displaced families and destroyed homes, our first priority was survival and stability.

  1. Essential food and ration packs were distributed
  2. Relief reached remote villages, helping hundreds regain access to food, clean water, and emergency supplies
  3. Swift action and timely aid where they were needed most

Phase 2: Long-Term Rehabilitation

Once the crisis eased, our focus turned to rebuilding lives.

  • 150+ flood-resilient homes were constructed for families who lost their shelter
  • 14 schools were built to restore learning for children affected by the floods
  • These efforts gave families not just structures, but a sense of normalcy and hope

At Sona Welfare Foundation, we believe in long-term recovery after disaster strikes. This initiative stands as a reflection of our core values of empathy, resilience, and community strength. With your help. vulnerable families were able to rebuild safer, stronger futures.
