Skill Development & Technical Training for Underprivileged Communities around Plant Sites of FFC
Social Education Program
As part of this initiative, we will be inviting guest speakers from diverse backgrounds to deliver motivational lectures on a variety of topics that encourage positive behavioral changes and personal development. These lectures will cover subjects like emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, the importance of respect, empathy, and community values, among others.
The program will serve as a platform for children to gain insights from experts, enhance their social understanding, and build a foundation for becoming responsible, well-mannered, and confident individuals. By inspiring the younger generation through knowledge-sharing and interactive sessions, the initiative aims to instill lifelong values that can contribute to their personal and societal growth.
This initiative is not only about enhancing the intellectual capabilities of children but also about molding them into well-rounded individuals who understand the significance of positive social interactions and the importance of contributing meaningfully to their communities.
As part of its ongoing commitment to community upliftment, FFC has launched a Social Education Program under its CSR initiatives other than it’s Educational & Skill Development initiatives. Focused on the holistic development of young minds, this program aims to empower children and youth in communities around FFC’s plant sites through structured learning on life skills, emotional intelligence, and community values.
This unique initiative brings together renowned guest speakers from across Pakistan to deliver impactful lectures on key areas of personal development. The focus lies on nurturing emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, respect, empathy, and the importance of strong moral values — essential elements in shaping responsible and resilient individuals.
The program officially commenced this month with its first session held at both FFC plant sites, featuring esteemed speaker Ms. Ainee Shehzad Salim, who conducted a powerful and inspiring lecture on "The Power of a Growth Mindset and Resilience in the Face of Adversity." Her session deeply resonated with the youth, helping them build confidence, spark creativity, develop problem-solving abilities, and strengthen learning capabilities — not only in academics but in life.
The Social Education Program is designed to run throughout the year, involving children from all nearby schools and FFC’s own educational institutions. This inclusive approach promotes diversity, shared learning, and cultural harmony, creating a vibrant platform for young minds to grow and connect.
Through this initiative, FFC continues to reinforce its dedication to nurturing the next generation — not just academically, but as emotionally intelligent, responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Supporting Emerging Talent
The Pakistan Junior Volleyball Championship serves as an essential event for young athletes to showcase their skills, gain recognition, and make their way into national teams. By donating to this championship, CSR is directly contributing to the development of young volleyball players, offering them opportunities for growth, training, and exposure at an international level.
Foreign Qualified Coaching
Financial support for the championship also includes foreign Coach hiring, this will provide young athletes with access to better training, boosting their performance and development potential. By investing in the Foreign Coach hiring, CSR aims to create a lasting legacy for volleyball in Pakistan.
Promoting Health, Discipline, and Teamwork
Through this initiative, CSR hopes to instill essential values such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance in the youth. Supporting volleyball in Pakistan is not just about developing sports skills; it is also about fostering character development and promoting healthier lifestyles among young people.
Promoting and Uplifting Volleyball in Pakistan through Support for the Pakistan Junior Volleyball Championship 2025
As part of its comprehensive CSR strategy focused on community wellbeing, FFC has extended its support to Sports in Pakistan. This initiative aligns with FFC’s broader CSR objectives, which include education, skill development, and the promotion of sports and healthy lifestyles among the youth. Recognizing the power of sports in shaping character, discipline, and teamwork, FFC CSR has chosen to support volleyball — a sport gaining momentum in Pakistan’s youth circles. For that reason, we have selected the Pakistan U-19 Junior Volleyball Team. The U-19 Junior Team has shown exceptional promise, recently qualifying for the prestigious International U-19 Junior Volleyball Championship, scheduled to take place in Tashkent in July 2025. In preparation for this international platform, the junior team was given the opportunity to compete in the National Seniors Championship held this month. Their promising performance and impressive results underscored their talent and potential, validating the need for targeted support. The pictures and video clips are attached. To strengthen the team’s competitive edge, FFC CSR has provided a support to Pakistan Volleyball Federation in hiring an International Coach, aimed at enhancing the players’ skills and game strategy. This grooming initiative is already bearing fruit, as evidenced by the team’s progress. Furthermore, FFC CSR will be supporting the team's participation in the International Championship by covering Airline Travel Expenses for both the selected team and management. Through this commitment, FFC aims to uplift and promote sports in Pakistan, with a particular focus on nurturing young talent in volleyball. This initiative reflects FFC’s vision of empowering the next generation and fostering national pride through sports excellence.
